But then a couple of nights ago Hubby and I were watching the Olympique de Marseille Vs. Eindhoven Champion's League game (what can I say, we love soccer!) and suddenly an online sweepstakes came on during the half time.
Basically you had to text the answer to a really silly question the commentators asked on air. As hubby was reaching for his cell phone I couldn't help snorting a "what a looser" under my breath.

A few minutes after having sent his text he got a call confirming that his name at been randomly picked and he one of three winners of that evening's prize!!!!!!!!!!!

Ale: Believe me, next time I'm watching Desperate Housewives and they put on one of these on-air contests, I'm hauling Hubby's butt into the room and ordering him to text in the answer (he's the one with the lucky texting fingers it seems)... the prizes they give out during DH are THE BOMB!!!! :D

That girl: Funny you mention it being a good gift for him... since it so happens that tomorrow is Hubby's b-day!!!! So I've warned him not to expect a gift from me this year. After all, we both for the cell phone bills (and that includes texting)... LOL (hehehe, aint I cheap?)
