Spring cleaning???

Remember when I said that lately I hadn't had much time to deal with everything?

I wasn't kidding.

Or exaggerating.

As Exhibits A and B will show, I have been one neglecting wife these past days:

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

Ok, so hubby pisses me off too when he does this:

...bbbbbbuuuut I can understand his point when he says that it aint no fun to have to maneuver and tip toe your way across the bedroom in order to reach the bed....

So ok, got the hint babe. Let's get this place back in habitable conditions!!!!

UPDATE: Several Mana songs and a few hours later our room is back in shape. Let's just hope this time it lasts.

Fned.

P.S. Mom, didn't these pics remind you of those years back home when I used to wiggle my way around the "clean your room" issue with the flawless "but mom, this way I always know where my stuff is because it's always in the same place: the floor".

For the record, this tactic doesn't work on hubby. :(

WOW! dejavu! And then CLo doing the same exact thing! I called it a sea of clothes when I looked in on her room (and yours in those days). But seeing that towel over the door looked familiar. That's how I do it! Don't see what's wrong with that, as long as it's only one towel at a time. Anyway, have fun folding, stacking and hanging. Good to see you locomoting!

Hehe...how funny. We are the opposite here. I could not for a moment keep anything on the floor, whereas my Frenchie would love it if he could just drop his clothes anywhere, without me nagging him to pick them up :-)

Minshap: I think CLo is worse than me. She hasn't got the Virgo OCD thing going on.... LOL

That girl: I get that way too.... only, with me it's after I've spent an entire afternoon cleaning up my OWN mess (which incidentally has been piling up for days) that I'll snap at hubby for not hanging up his coat in the closet when he walks in the door. 8)

I prefer the spare bed myself for convenient clothes-dropping. Just cleaned mine off this morning! Too embarrassed to take a picture of it. However I LOVE YOUR before/after depiction! BTW, Mana moved you, while La Fiesta by Serrat that you had up moved me during my bed-clearing!

hehehe about your hubby's towel on your towel thing. funny that we all have beef with the small things that annoy us that roommates or partners do. mine is when people use my bath towel to wipe their mouths or pat their face dry. yuck! and hubby is more like you with the whole leaving clothes strewn on the floor thing. i just shove it in the closet. out of sight, out of mind!

The "before" pictures are just my style, I remember telling my mom "It's not DIRTY mom, it's MESSY, duh!". Hubby doesn't quite agree with me, his Type A personality and my laissez faire attitude don't exactly jibe in terms of house keeping.

So we meet in the middle, I clean sometimes and he doesn't complain until doors don't open. ;-)

I love those posters on your walls! they are so nice!
Ah well at least you have your clothes in bed.. when I was single I had them on one side of my bed :S I just needed to find a free spot to crawl in bed.. shame shame! now there is hubby so no room for clothes ;) I can always put hubby on the floor no? hehe no, I guess not!

Firstly, I love your bedroom! So nice!

And second, I have that exact same towel color and I hang it just like your hubby does on the door. Hilarious.

Maybe it goes back to my childhood years, cause I can't have a messy house, my mom required cleaning in places unknown to sunlight on a weekly basis. My OCD is so bad I clean behind/under the stove & fridge more than it needs cleaning. On the other hand when hubby comes in the door... clothes, work bag, shoes, socks, watch and phones just fall off him as he makes it across the living room. I find that after 13 years with him, I have bigger fish to fry. =)

Minshap: Glad the music came in handy. I love that song from Serrat... always puts me in a good mood.

Kumichan: hehehe...I know what you mean. Another thing that totally drives me up the wall is hubby's knack for squizzing the toothpase IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TUBE, instead of from bottom to the top. What's up with that!!!!!! Pfff! Boys!!

Cancun Canuck: I actually enjoy chaos from time to time, that's the thing that hubby doesn't get. You need a little "MESS" in your life in order to really appreciate the "CLEAN" that comes afterwards. Does this even makes any sense???

Ale THANK YOU!! Hubby wasn't for it when I ordered them but now they are my favorite thing in our room! I ordered them from http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?startat=/getposter.asp&APNum=1214338&CID=3F12E03133F14F3A88C7F4E2945E933F&PPID=1&search=king&f=t&FindID=0&P=1&PP=223&sortby=PD&cname=&SearchID=

My Way: That's it. You got a lifetime invitation to come and stay with us whenever you like. :)

Mariella: WOW! Clean behind and UNDER the stove and fridge?!?!?! I don't think I've seen those parts of our floor since we moved in almost three years ago!!! GULP! LOL
