I love those Sundays when you don't have anything in particular planned and so you decide to just stay in the inside of your comfy home and vegg out.
Today I was curled up in the couch, drinking my tea and reading Douglas Kennedy's latest trashy novel when I suddenly heard a noise coming from the street outside. I got up and went to the window in our living room that overlooks the street four stories below. That's when I took this picture. It's from the house across the street from our apartment. We've not yet figured out if it's divided in separate apartments on each floor or not, but we are pretty sure it's one of the very few houses left in Paris that still has a private garden and a even a greenhouse!!
I like living in our tiny two bedroom apartment. It's nice and cozy and easy to clean. But looking out onto our neighbours' garden I couldn't help wondering what Sunday vegging would feel like sitting outside with your tea and reading under those trees.

Wow lucky them! We are apt hunting in Paris right now and we'd consider ouselves lucky to find a balcony let alone all that!
Misscris: Tell me about it! House hunting in Paris is known to be tough... still, sooner or later you find a place that ends up being perfect. That's just how this city is. Good luck with the hunt and I'll let you know if I hear of anything interesting (preferbly with a balcony, I get it! ;))

I think the house is divided into different little apartments because if you look carefully at the courtains and shades you'll notice that they're all different. And if it all belonged to 1 owner/family they'd more likely have similar courtains to unify their place.
Xi: I SHOULD have known that ONLY YOU would notice that!!
