30d Project

Misschris recently finished a really cool project on her blog A pretty how town. She decided she was going to post 1 picture on her blog per day during 30 days. The pictures would not be pre-planned nor pre-arranged... simply spur-of-the moment shots of everyday life. You can see how amazing the result is on her blog and it made me want to give it a try. In a way, it's a little of what I was doing in Japan, only there EVERYTHING was so amazing that the hard part was deciding WHICH picture to post in the evening.

I'm guessing the hard part here is going to be knowing when to go "click". That's the whole thing about everyday life. You never just suddenly stop, take a step back and recognize the instant that is worth capturing for posterity. Still, I like Misschris' take on the whole thing: how interesting it will be going back in a few years time and reading/seeing about the things that were part of your everyday life in this instant, in this moment, today.

So here goes nothing.

P.S. I warn you. I am not an accomplished photographer. I barely know what all the functions on my small digital camera are for and don't even ask me how many pixels it has... I only know what button to press when I'm ready to take the shot.
