The days of the week

Mondays : Monday always gives the tempo for the rest of the week. Usually you start Mondays with the best of intentions. You tell yourself things like "this week things are finally going to start going my way" or "For once, I'm not going to say anything stupid in front of my boss this week" or the classic "I'm going to stick to my diet till the end of week".... of course usually these resolutions don't make it to wednesday....

Tuesdays : I know for most it's Monday, but for me Tuesday is actually the depressing day of the week... there is absolutely nothing interesting in Tuesdays... only the fact that you are at the beginning of the week and that you still have 4 long days to put up with before the weekend... Basically, Tuesdays are only worthy when they serve a puente.

Wednesdays : In France wednesdays can be either "really calm" days or "really hectic" days... Depends on the case... let me explain : women in France usually take wednesdays off as there is no school on wednesdays for elementary and junior students so mommys have to stay home and this means less key decision makers available at the office for meetings or any ... decision making --> calm days. BUT this also means employees have less or no meetings at all on wednesdays so they work like crazy to get some actual work done while it's "calm" --> hectic days ....

Thursdays : Who doesn't like Thursdays?.... The perspective of the weekend finally looming over our shoulders ? The feeling of almost being done with this stupid week.... co-workers and colleagues going out for a beer because everyone has plans for Friday so you might as well go out on Thursday .... and if not a beer than a nice evening at home.... there's almost always good stuff on TV thursday evening.

Fridays : Only three words : I LOVE FRIDAYS !! Or if you prefer : TGIF !!!!

Saturdays : -SHOPPING!- Saturdays are a day of adventure -SHOPPING!-, everything is possible as everyting is open -SHOPPING!-, the post office, the bank, the dentist office -SHOPPING!- the supermarket, the shoe repair guy, -SHOPPING!- the cleaners.... and best of all you have time! -SHOPPING!-, you can get stuff you need to do done -SHOPPING!-, you can get stuff you want to do done -SHOPPING!-, and if you have a little time left after all that you can even do a little shopping! :D

Sundays : Ahhhhh Sundays.... that day of the week when you're actually forced to rest ... because in France nothing is open on sundays you have a limited amount of things you can do on this restful day : walk, movies, museums or IKEA.... or you can simply stay in your pijamas and vegg out all day (I personally prefer this option)...

Have a nice ..... ANYday !!!
