Trial test

I'm giving this music widget thing a trial test. Initially I was looking for an online tool that would allow me to post music in a post w/o having to post the youtube video, cuz sometimes you just want to listen to the song w/o having to see the (crummy) video/images.

I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for (and if you know of any such thing please do pass on the knowledge) but instead I came across this iPod widget.

I'm not that convinced of liking the idea of having music blast on your speakers as soon as you come over to Fned's Blog (I sometimes sneak over to read up on some of my fave blogs while I'm at work and if music started playing each time I clicked on a site, it wouldn't be a good thing!!)...

So I'm giving it a trial test of one week. I intend to upload a different song every day depending on my mood and you guys can let me know what you think, not only about the song, but about the whole idea of having music play automatically on your computer as soon as you stop by for a visit.

Cheers,
Fned.

well, I've just tried it out, and I'm not so convinced... partly cause of what you said about entering the blog at work, but also because the song plays over and over unless you remember to stop it! Would be neater if the option was there but you could decide whether or not to play it... with your u-tube videos, I sometimes play them, and then open another page, so I'm not watching the videos, but I get to hear the music... then, I go back periodically to your blog to click on the others... Oh, but one good thing: I LOVE THE SONG YOU POSTED TODAY! FIT MY MOOD PERFECTLY!!! COULD USE A FEW MORE LIKE THAT!

I have to say that I have to vote against the widget only because just now when I got to your blog music started blasting. People are sleeping and I was fumbling around trying mute the volume on my computer! :D

Yeah... I'm taking it off, I also find it quite tiring.

Besides, thanks to Jonnifer, I found the webtool I was INITIALLY looking for! Yay!
