Nice to know I'm not the only one with dishes piling up.
I however, own a dishwasher.
Hmmm...perhaps I'm just lazy.
Get cracking, girl, you've got a lot to do!! Acutally, hope you manage to have a great weekend with no worries or "things to do" at all!
Love ya!
So honored to be on your to-do list (unless that happens to be some other Sam with housing troubles, lol). And to answer your question, I have temporary housing, but unfortunately nothing permanent yet.
I would also like to meet up with Jonnifer some day - maybe we should make it a date!
You can scratch me off your list - already done! Also, you wrote us en masse so you can scratch off C and S. The rest of the thank-you stuff and answering polls and phone calls, should be pretty easy. ABOUT THE DISHES AND THE WASH - NOOOOOOOO FNED!!! You're my inspiration on those things. You've always been the one to clean up kitchens spic-n-span in the blink of an eye and as for clothes, it seems to me you have mountains of things to wear - or is it just shoes you seem to collect? As for work, well, there I truly sympathize with you. Get them to get a replacement for you already in the old job so you can concentrate on the new one!!
In short, take it easy girl, but on the other hand, as Sdun said - better get crackin'!
Finally, dare I say have a good weekend? YES, DO HAVE THAT!
That girl: hehehe.. we did debate over the whole dishwasher issue when we installed our kitchen a few years ago: and I was all "nah, we don't need one, I lived in a home with 7 people and we did the dishes by hand -dishwasher came later-, I can totally handle dishes for 2 people, let's get a dryer instead (I HATE hanging up wet clothes to dry)".... yeah right!! I would KILL for a dishwasher now... only no room left! :(
Aunt S: thanks Aunt S! I am trying to keep on top of things ... -brought some work home though.. no fun! :( - I hope they find a replacement for my EA job soon!
Ksam: ooh! Just checked your blog, so happy you found a place (even though it's temporary). The "pendaison de cremaillère" seemed like it was fun!! We DO need to get together one of these days!!! How is it that we haven't met yet?? :)
Minshap: Yeah.. well.. I try mom. By the frequency of my calls/emails home you can imagine how well that's going... (but you'll be happy to know that our kitchen is once again in "usable" mode - it only took me an hour to clean it!! urgh!)

I'm honored to be on your to do list as well. :) I just got back from a week in SF so we should definitely get together! And with the long-suffering Ksam. Housing in Paris, what a mess.
It's good to know that I'm actually ON someone's to-do list instead of their shit list, for a change.
I'll give you a pass on this task, so no stressing!
I like your lists. Plus you said..."bitch". Always a bonus when Fned swears. LOL.
my to do list is endless, because there are so many potential things I´ve forgotten to put on it that it would be impossible to even write it down with any accuracy.
Here´s a way to cut down on what you have to do: Just email the link to this post to all those people you´re supposed to email and that way at least they know you had planned to do it.
Can I help you ??????
Helene
Fned, you did already write to me. So did you make your roasted bean snacks? Doesn't it seem weird to eat beans as a snack?
The dishes are evil, if you aren't careful they will breed more dirty dishes.
regards,
Theresa
Jonnifer: oh how cool! A week in SF! Did I mention HUBBY LOVES THAT CITY? (LOL).
Heather: Couldn't resist. The vote has been cast! :D
Mexico Way: hahaha! Did you notice how I ALMOST made it to writing out the F word??? aren't ya proud of me?? ;)
Bluestreak: Girl! You would make a killer EA - quick and efficient! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!! ;D
Hélène: That is so really kind of you. If you figure out a way to split one person into 4 I am definitely taking you up on that help offer!! ;)
Theresa: Sadly, no. I haven't had a chance to re-try the roasted beans recipe since my last failed attempt. I am however putting it in my NEW to-do list for next weekend!! ;) (P.S. I'm thinking of adding some lemon juice and tajin chili powder once they're all dry and crispy in order to give it that "botana" gist, what do you think?...)
