I recently found out my mom is a lurker.... she's reading all y'all's blogs but never commenting. We spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday talking about blogs, my blog, your blogs....
everyone's blogs. I keep telling her
she should start one since she's such a good story-teller and she
does have plenty of stories to tell (both fictional and real).... if she ever does one day start a blog, I'm sure her stats wouldn't take long to go up the roof (hey, she's my mom, of course I'm
gonna exaggerate! LOL)
But speaking of lurkers and stats, I think I have caught one myself... if you check out the map below you'll see a green dot way to the right (don't confuse it with my New Zealand reader, Hi! New Zealand!)..... At first I thought that Singapore dot was just one poor lost soul that landed on Fned's blog by mistake.... but he/
she has been coming back pretty often since and so it can only mean one thing.......

Is that you Ayako? ......... sorry, girl.... you're busted. ;-)
Fned.

I love these world maps of visitors! I still haven't figured out who is living in the ocean to the west of Africa and reading my blog. Ha ha!
I used to be a "voyeur" and usually start as a "lurker", but eventually starting commenting in some of my friends and new friends blogs. I gave up over the Summer and created a travel blog that didn't take off, although I still get the odd hit a week. Eventually I gave up and started my own blog and now I am addicted to sitemeter. I have a regular visitor from Virginia from the Department of State who consistently comes from (referred by) and leaves to (out click) to a couple of friend's blogs.
how do you access that map? And how do you access sitemeter? just out of curiosity. And by the way, I'm not a lurker! I just like to follow threads!
