Leaving home to go home

Well, this is it. I'm leaving Paris to go home for the holidays.

This is a bitter sweet moment because I'm happy I'll be able to see my family again, some of which I haven't seen in years! I'm getting my cake and eating it too this year because I'll be able to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in San Antonio, my parents, sister and brothers in Puebla, attend my best friend's wedding in Talxcala and celebrate my brother's b-day as well!! :-)

But I'm also a little sad because hubby wont be coming this time due to work and so this will be the first time in 6 years that we don't spend the holidays together and the first time since I came back from Mexico that we will be separated for more than 1 week. :-(

Thank goodness there are things like webcam, VoIP telephone and international roaming... I realize how much these things make expat-ing (or inpat-ing) a lot more easier !!! :D

So Happy Holidays to all you bloggers and lurkers and readers and commenters!! May you all spend fun, loving, delicious, and memorable holidays wherever you are!

xoxoxoxo,
Fned.

Have an awesome trip! I LOVE PUEBLA! So beautiful. And if you can actually believe, I have visited Tlaxcala as well. (Old boyfriend showed me around....which is the best tour you can ever take!)

Have a very Merry Xmas and enjoy the time you have back in Mexico.

I can't wait to hear all about it!

My hubby and I long distance dated for 4 years. It's true that it makes the heart grow fonder. When you finally see him again you will have missed him so bad that it'll be like a first date all over again with the butterflies and all that mess!

And... WE WANT PICTURES!!! :) Some of us particularly love other peoples' weddings, you know... (well maybe you don't, but now you do...)
