Pics, Pics and more Pics!!

I just realized that I haven't told you guys that the PICS ARE UP!!!!!!!

-- well, Hubby's pics are up, that is.

I have to say, he did a great job at handpicking a few (150) out of the many (3000+) that he took over the course of our travels in Argentina and Chile last month.

If you're interested, you can check them out here.

I love Hubby's pictures because they're always very "artistic" in my opinion, meaning that where as I would take a quick, uneven, out of focus, shot of the entire crumbling blue building in front of us, he uses his zooming-thingy and filtering-whatchamacallit and takes 50 shots of the same thing until he captures the exact angle of the second story balcony where the blue paint suddenly meshes with a little bit of rust from the iron railing!!

It used to drive me nuts... all that time and preparation to take a single shot of a freaking balcony. Now I just shrug my shoulders and read the guidebook while he does "his thing" knowing that the final result will be me seeing those pictures a few months/years afterwards and being completely transported back to that place and standing in front of that blue crumbling building again... even more so than if I was seeing my own shabby pic of that same damn blue crumbling building!.

Call it a bad case of "being in love".

... but don't tell him that. ;)

Fned.
P.S. A few of my own pics are also up in my previous posts to illustrate a few of my blabbering ramblings during our travels. :)

I must say I enjoyed the slide show. Congrats to your hub for me please! I could almost hear the water thundering down the hillsides and rock slopes in the waterfall shots. The murals were "fuera de serie"! Such colors and imagination! Same goes for the multi-colored houses along the streets... was that Chile? Really really unique! I loved the pictures of the streets in Uruguay.
Never fear however. The pics you posted in back posts are also quite good!

Wow, hubby did a great job of picking the 150 pics! What beautiful and colorful places you went to. Even the wash hanging up matched their colorful homes!
