Oh how gross!! But also so cool! But I hope you didn't get the finger mixed up with the franks! Thanks for all the insight into your trip.. have been loving it and living it all vicariously through your graphic deptictions...
Minshap: Actually, that was the FUNNY part of that diner! The gross part was right after we'd settled in at the table and they brought us the menu: A sketched image of a pig sectioned all over so you could "pick" the parts you wanted to order and grill yourself at your table!!!! THAT WAS IT!!! Turns out we'd walked into an ONLY PIG GRILL STEAK HOUSE, except that everything being in Japanese we didn't have a clue up until that point! We didn't want to seem rude by walking out so we stayed and my diner consisted of the three mushrooms, five slices of onions, two slices of green pepper and 3 leafs of cabage that they brought as "side" dishes!!! André on the other hand.... pigged out (sorry, I had to)
