(a brief pause from our daily Japan reporting).....
I am going to confess a little secret here.
Anyway, this year, our 3rd wedding anniversary being today.... for obvious reasons I performed the "putting on of The Dress" ritual at home before we left for Japan.

Pwheeeeeeeuuuuuu, still fits!
Every year on our wedding anniversary I take the time to drag out my old wedding dress from the back of the closet, put it on and take a picture.
It's a little pleasure of mine, first of all because I loved that dress and I find it sad that I only get to wear it once. And second because as long as I can still fit in it I am able to sleep at night.

Felicidades Fned! Twice, once for the anniversary and once for fitting in that beautiful gown, lol!
You are the most adorable thing ever!
Happy Anniversary!!!!
Cute dress. I think I could fit into mine (if I had one) up until my firstborn.
Welcome back. I loved all the Japan pictures--especially the pink tractor!
You're so beautiful even three years later, so you still make that gown look like a million bucks!

Cancun Canuck: Well thank ya!(twice)!! =D
Mexico way: Now you got me blushin'.... no fair!
Misschris: I much debated over the whole wedding dress issue actually....I'm not much of a dress wearing kindda gal (I could live in my blue jeans 24/7 if they'd allow it at the office) I finally decided I would wear one on my wedding as a one-of sort of thing... and I ended up falling in love with the gown and now have to put it on once a year! It makes me feel so "girly" ;D
Mamacita: Thanks girl! That's so kind of you!!! *smile*
Minshap: ahhh mom!!! (((hug)))

I think I'm going to adopt this tradition (as long as I am in the same country as my dress on our anniversary)! I think it is a great idea!
Happy Anniversary and have fun in Venice!
Chilenguita: Yay! It really is a nice tradition... I love putting on that dress... in fact, I think I'm going to do just that after I hit the publish button on this comment.
And for the record, no matter where I go live in the world, that dress is coming with me even if I have to stuff the thing in my suitcase myself! LOL
