Takeoff – 7

So we’re finally doing it! We’re leaving for Japan in a week!

This trip has been in the works for the past 3 years and I cannot tell you how much Hubby and I have been looking forward to it.

So much so that as soon as we could we bought our flight tickets without doing much research beforehand…

….. that's right…. now.... everyone, c’mon.... say it with me:

“BAD idea Fned!”

Turns out we will be travelling to Japan smack in the middle of Golden Week. This is the week that all tourist guides tell you is NOT the best time to visit Japan because it is a two week period when there are 4 national holidays squeezed into this period of time and basically the entire country is on holidays. This means, less hotel rooms available, long ticket lines for everything and crowded temples and shrines….

wou-hou. can’t wait.
