A meme about me, ME!!!

All you meme haters out there are probably going to loathe me but I actually like MEMEs... how else can I justify talking about my favorite subject (me) without sounding self absorbed? :-)

So here is a fantastic meme created by Rivergirl and her daugther which I am answering because Mexico Way tagged me (but that if she hadn't I would have probably tagged myself anyway!) :p

What are your top 3 favorite foods?
Hands downs: Popcorn w/salsa valentina, (mexican) home-made chilaquiles and jicamas con tajin y limon!!

What was the last book you read and would you recommend it?

"Confessions of a Shopaholic " by Sophie Kinsella..... totally hillarious... definetly recommend it if you're looking for something light and funny to read.

What are your top 3 favorite places?

Lambda places: My bed, the leather couch in our living room where I can curl up with a good book and lately.... the gym (love that they have mirrors all over the place, told ya I was self absorbed)
Cities I've been to: Madrid, London and Prague

What was the last lie you told?

Hmmmm.... I'm gonna lie on this one: I never lie.

What are your favorite 3 sports (to watch or participate in)?

I love watching soccer and ice skating on TV and I used to love playing volleyball in jr high/high school and softball in college.

What was the last movie you watched and would you recommend it?

We recently watched "La Môme" (the story of Edith Piaf) with Academy Award winning actress Marion Cotillard.... I thought it was ok... I guess she did do a really good job in playing Edith Piaf throughout her adult life.... but I'm not really familiar with Edith Piaf's life and some parts of the movie were simply impossible to understand if you didn't know her life. I guess I do recommend watching it... there is so very little else going on in the movie theatres currently.....

I'm in my office right now: I can see the Seine river, the riverwalk and buildings across the river.

Where was the last place you went?

The gym.

What are your top 3 favorite “good causes” or charities?

I guess you could say the environment: I recycle as much as I can, I seldom use the dryer, we never leave any of our appliances on and I tend to try and stay away from things that harm the environment.
I have also decided to become a vegetarian... I never really liked eating meat but after reading the book Skinny Bitch I realized it would be a very very very long time before I ever put a piece of flesh in my mouth again.
I don't know if these apply as "good causes" though......

What was the last thing you did for someone else?

I intentionally avoided talking about a subject I know hurts one of my best friends and which I was curious to hear about.

Japan (26 days left baby!!!), New York, South America.

My morning's tea bag

A framed picture of hubby (the first pic of him I ever had and my favorite to this day), a wooden box that was the wedding savor of my best friend's wedding and a little porcelain japanese jewelry holder where I put my engagement ring when I take it off in the evening which was an engagement present from a good friend of ours.

Time, dates and the market

What was the last musical or theatrical event that you attended?

Hubby and I went to see "Les Belles Soeurs" on Friday night. Very funny play and one that we enjoyed very much.

What are the first 3 things you would do if you won the lottery?

I would kiss hubby, call family and go out shopping!!

Describe or name the last serious injury or illness you had?

An ongoing tooth problem.

What are the top 3 things that you wish you could do

Loose weight by pigging out, speak german and earn money by growing it on trees.

What was the last thing that someone said to you that you will remember forever?
Something hubby said to me the other day... but that will have to remain private ;)
