Easy,
a) My face hasn't stopped itching since I put makeup on again this morning for the first time in three weeks.
b) My feet seem to have forgotten what wearing "high heels" is all about.
c) My lame-o so called "tan" lasted a single day in this 2°C weather.
d) I had to re-teach my hair a thing or two about discipline with a big glob of gel.
e) I'm wearing an Eskimo jacket to walk down the street on my way to work.
f) I have to go to work.
g) Only 48 hours ago I was riding Santiago's pristine clean metro and now I find myself wanting to sanitize the entire subway wagon I'm riding in this morning.
Man, it's hard to snap out of it!

On the brightside (for me) you're back to blogging! Although you know that any time you feel like coming back to Santiago you and your hubby are MORE than welcome. Good luck with the first few days back!
And just for the record, our metro may look cleaner, but I still would like to sanitize it.
Aside from your "a" to "g" comments, we're so glad your back "home"! Now we can't wait to see lots of pictures, and hear more stories from your fabulous trip.
Love Ya..

I guess G) is THE one... :S it is good to know you are back home safe!
Welcome home! We are glad to have you back, though it sure sounds like you needed an extension in your plans!
Can't wait to see some pics. :)
I'm glad to see you back blogging but sorry the vacation is over.
Switching hemispheres sure can change your clothing options no?
Welcome back! We should celebrate with a glass of Chilean wine.
Ahhh, how I wish you were a permanent fixture in Santiago Mrs. Fned.
And I was going to say the same thing as Emily. I still douse myself in hand sanitizer after every time I ride the metro :)
Emily: I swear, Santiago's metro is lick-the-floor-clean compared to the subway in Paris. Just this morning I saw a guy spitting on the floor right next to me while we were standing on the platform waiting for the train to arrive! YUCK-O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... urgh! This is going to be a looooong week!
IdaRose: Thanks Mimi!! I tried sorting through my pics this evening... I guess I'm halfway through! Yikes! Promise to post soon!
Ale: I feel so out of things!!! I'm SO GLAD you're feeling better (you ARE feeling better, right?!?!?) and back to blogging. Can't wait to get back on track with blogger and catch up with ya girl!!!
CancunCanuck: Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... "extension of plans"........ I like the way that sounds............ // Pics coming soon, I promise (plus post about last leg of trip which has the best to come yet!!) ;)
Jonna: hahahaha, hadn't thought about it but you're absolutely right! I've gone from flip-flops to knee length thermal boots! Well, at least I should be happy that it's no longer snowing as I hear it was last week! Can't wait to catch up with what's going on in Mérida (ya in tha new house yet?!?!). Missed you guys too!!!
Jonnifer: I totally agree! Got lots to celebrate (10K anyone??) and definitely before Phil and you fly off to Hawaii!! I'll call you this week!
Mamacita: hahaha, believe me, right now I'm wishing I was a permanent fixture in Santiago too (on vacations that is, hehehe)!! Say hi to Papi for us (and Seba too! ;))
Fned.
Welcome home! (apparently I am behind the game in this one). I for one am happy to have you blogging-- but understand the not being happy about being home. Also, so sad that I missed out on the Stgo funness.
"Be it ever so humble...!" Hope you've made the adjustment back by now. I want to hear all about the Santiago part AND can't wait for pics!
Love ya,
none other than...aunt s :)
Pacience and serenity!!
