Wow! First time blogging from an Airport!
On advice from my Uncle Juan that I should get to the International Airport in Mexico City THREE hours before my flight's departure at 2pm this afternoon, here I am at 10:40am all checked in and ready to go with three hours left to spare..... grrrrrr!!!
Anyway, I guess this is the best time to go back on the great week I've just had:
From Alba & Carlos's beautiful and romantic wedding..... to our exquisit Ney Year's Eve dinner (home-made pizzas made from scratch cooked in my dad's horno de leña) with my Uncle Juan blasting away at the guitar and us sitting around him singing our lungs out to the old songs of Serrat and Pablo Milanes.... to my brother A's b-day with me getting to meet his girlfriend, catch up with Nico (and his gf!) and taste my dad's incredible panqué de arroz... to my great conversation with Bris over a cold cup of java at the Italian's Coffee de Plaza Crystal... to a tour of my friends' Chryss and Martha's new apartment with built-in aquarium and everything.... to that movie we didn't see at the theaters after all sneaking out instead to the fayuca... etc, etc, etc.
I've had such a beautiful, wonderful, peaceful, restful week that my only regret is that hubby wasn't here to share it with me, otherwise it would have been the definition of a perfect vacation.
Thank you minshap and dad for your great welcome, hospitality and letting me vegg out in my pijamas all day long in front of the TV or reading that trashy Grisham novel....
Thank you Lewes for lending me that flanel gray shirt to keep me warm and which I wore for 4 days straight. Seguro se para sola de tan sucia que ha de estar ya!
Thank you A for that wool scarf meant for Hubby but that is now under my possession and has officially become Fned's property...
Thank you C for introducing me to Bebe and lending me her CD... I now look forward to listening to more of her stuff...
Thank you S for lending my your chanclas and thus preventing me from catching pneumonia by going barefoot all day long....
I love you and I'm missing you already!

Well if you're still there, this will be a first for me too - answering a blog written at an airport while the blogger was still at the airport! Just want to reiterate for the zillionth time - THANK YOU FOR COMING BECAUSE WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED HAVING YOU HERE FNED.... Have a great final week of vacation and give our best to everyone in SA and in Paris!

and...
I have a few things to say 'bout all this...
first of all, I want to thank you for putting up with all the stupid fights that we had (sure! call them that C!), but hey! it's nature! we're supossed to fight a lot...
second is that before you where here I just did not think about missing you, but now I want to fight you, and talk about perfums while you're dropping my best friend and I to a Disco, or talking abput nothing and everything while we're waking to shops in Sn Antonio, or I don't know, just having a sister instead of JUST brothers, you know? hahaha, it's weird
well I hope everything and everyone is ok, and having fun, please tell "An" (I don't know what you call him, but im sure you know who im talking about) that We and I missed him a lot, and we hope he can come next time
